The Safe Surgery Coalition is a group of physicians, patients, and concerned citizens throughout the United States, in partnership with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, state ophthalmology organizations, and state medical groups aligned to urge lawmakers to support policies maintaining the highest quality standards of surgical safety, and oppose measures that put patient safety at risk.
